| Founded in 1976, Northeast Urologic Surgery, P.C. provides medical and surgical needs for urologic patients in the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire area. Our physicians are Board Certified in Urology, faculty members of Tufts University School of Medicine Department of Urology and are actively involved in the teaching of physicians in residency training at the Lahey Clinic, Department of Urology. Steven Previte, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Previte received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1973 from Tufts University School of Medicine where he graduated as a member of AOA, the national medical honor society. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and then completed his urology training at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Previte is an Associate Clinical Professor of Urology at Boston University School of Medicine and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Previte's interests include benign and malignant conditions of the prostate; kidney and ureteral stones, and benign and malignant conditions of the bladder. He has a special
interest in benign prostatic hypertrophy and is a speaker and preceptor for the HoLAP laser procedure.
Dr. Previte is board certified in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. |

Ossama E. Sakr, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Sakr was born, raised, and educated in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, Egypt. After completing a year of internship in Alexandria, he relocated to the United States for further education and training. He finished three years of
surgical training at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Beach, New Jersey and
St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. He then served his Urology Residency at Boston University Medical Center. In addition, he is Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Board certified in Urology, Dr. Sakr is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. |

Liam J. Hurley, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Hurley obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 1986. After spending three years in the U.S. Navy, he completed a General Surgery Residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston and his Urology Residency at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA where he currently is a Clinical Instructor of urology residents.
He is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Tufts University School of Medicine and Boston University Medical School.
Dr. Hurley is board certified in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 2006, he was chosen as one of Boston 's “TOP DOCTORS” by Boston Magazine. |

George E. Canellakis, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Canellakis was awarded three degrees from Boston University: a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts, and lastly a Medical Doctorate in 1996. After medical school, Dr. Canellakis trained in General Surgery at the Case Western Reserve-University Hospitals of Cleveland. He went on to complete his residency training in Urologic and Transplantation Surgery at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester.
Other unique aspects of his training include laparoscopic and minimally invasive approaches to diagnosis, pediatrics and cancer surgery. Dr. Canellakis also spent one residency year entirely devoted to specialty training in Pediatric Urology at the Great Ormand Street Hospital for Sick Children and Infants in London.
Dr. Canellakis is board certified in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. |

Tracey S. Wilson, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Wilson graduated from Howard University College of Medicine in 1994 and completed her surgery and urology training at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She pursued an interest in female urology and incontinence by completing a fellowship in Urodynamics, Female Urology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Prior to joining Northeast Urologic Surgery, P.C., Dr. Wilson was a member of the Department of Urology at Boston Medical Center where she remains on the faculty as an Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Wilson is board certified in Urology. |
