| Dr. Glavas is an eye plastic and reconstructive surgeon with additional expertise in cosmetic eyelid surgery (also known as eyelift), brow lift and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation including laser and light treatments. As an eyelid specialist, Dr. Glavas addresses problems with thinning or falling eyelashes and provides solutions for eyelash regeneration, growth or transplantation. |

Ioannis P. Glavas, M.D.
Dr. Glavas completed a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston before an internship in surgery at Baystate Medical Center at Tufts University School of Medicine. Then he became an ophthalmology research fellow at New England Eye Center and then a ophthalmology resident at New York University Medical School and Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital.
Dr Glavas completed two additional fellowships in aesthetic plastic surgery training and laser facial rejuvenation; at Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City and the New England Eye Center at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Glavas is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and
American Board of Medical Specialties. He is a member of the American Academy
of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), American Academy of
Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Dr. Glavas is Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU School of Medicine and is on faculty in the oculoplastic clinic of Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital. He is also part of the staff at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. |
